Our Story — Rooted in Kalumpang Since 1970s

Our lotus root story began generations ago — in the muddy ponds of Selangor, where our father first learned the land.

As early as 1977, our parents began cultivating lotus roots in Kalumpang, Selangor. At the time, Mr Au was just a young schoolboy, following his father into the fields — bent over, feet deep in mud.

Those muddy ponds became more than just farmland; they were the foundation of his childhood and a deep-rooted connection to the land.

In 2010, after returning from abroad, we found our family's lotus fields abandoned — not a single root left. Fewer people were willing to continue the hard work, and the traditional knowledge was disappearing. We knew this legacy was worth saving — not just to revive the land, but to continue a deeper heritage of care and belief.

We are Malaysia's First Certified Organic Lotus Root

In the quiet town of Slim River, we transformed a former mining lake into our first lotus root pond — breathing new life into the land and carrying forward a tradition of growing passed down through generations. Five years later, guided by our belief in the healing power of whole foods, we made the commitment to go fully organic — nurturing our lotus roots the way nature intended, free from chemicals and full of purpose.
